If you didn't know, "We Carve Smiles" is the logo for the underground children's book writer known as C.J. Pumpkins and his books do just that! Upon learning about the new author, I was surprised to find out that his fan base was so large since none of his titles have been published through traditional publishing houses. His first title "The Dream Stowaway" a 44 page rhyme book, received great reviews and sold very well in the U.K. market. But according to C.J., the REST has yet to come. With his two new titles "The Dream Stowaway in Forgotten Dreams" and "Michael's Wonderful World."
"The Dream Stowaway in Forgotten Dreams" is the first volume in a series of five books which follows the story of a young orphan named Christopher and his journey to become the Sandman.
The second book a more serious title is "Michael's Wonderful World," which follows the story of Michael a boy living with cancer whose hatred towards his disease also becomes his strength in learning to live. With so many titles to choose from this year, it's going to be hard for an unknown author to get sales without the proper backing of a major publishing company but if its quality and originality you're searching for, C.J.
